This guide will provide you with resources to help you find information on education topics. Note the tabs in blue above.

Books and Videos: information on searching for print and/or electronic books in the library catalog as well as links to a few of our streaming video databases which have interesting videos on educational topics

Encyclopedias and Dictionaries: good place to start for background information on your topic or finding definitions of words

Finding Articles: links to some of the most important databases for finding journal articles

Article Search Tips: information on search shortcuts, using AND and OR in searches, how to save your search strategy, setting up alerts, etc.

Citation Styles: links to examples of APA style for journal articles as well as additional links to the other style manuals

Websites: links to major websites with information for educators including ideas, lesson plans, activities, statistics, etc.

Tests & Measurements: links to two major databases describing standardized tests plus one leading to occupational tests. Also shows print directories for standardized tests
