The UNCG University Libraries engage in ongoing and sustained assessment to ensure:
- The Libraries' collection, services and facilities are meeting user needs
- Planning and decision-making are based on informed evidence
- The Libraries are fulfilling its mission and goals
- The Libraries foster a culture of assessment
- The Libraries comply with UNCG institutional effectiveness requirements
Theis guide provdes assessment results from a variety of studies at the UNCG University Libraries.
Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Team
The University Libraries Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Team coordinates assessment efforts of the University Libraries to ensure that useful data and qualitative information is available for accountability, strategic planning and improvement of the Libraries’ services and resources. The team also develops an integrated framework for institutional effectiveness within the Libraries and monitors institutional effectiveness initiatives which have contributed to modifying or improving programs and/or services after assessing, analyzing and using results of assessment.
