Microform Sets in Jackson Library: Home

Microforms are valuable resources, but many titles previously only available on film or fiche are now available online.  If you have questions about any of these sets or other microforms, use our Ask Us chat service in the box on the left hand side.

About Microform Sets

Nicroform sets are located in the basement of the main building of Jackson Library unless otherwise noted; some sets are moving to Storage. Microform readers are located in the reference room on the first floor.  The staff at the reference desk will help you find the sets you need.

Print indexes and guides (where available) are located in the reference stacks on the first floor of Jackson Library. Please ask at the reference desk for assistance.

You can also use the library catalog to find materials. Try a keyword search to find resources on a topic.

  • Use AND when using more than one search term. For example, if you're looking for books on the films of Scorsese, search for Scorsese and film.
  • If you know the title you need, try a Keyword in Title search.
  • For microforms, click on the "Limit KEYWORD Search" button, then on the drop down menu for "Limit by Format" and select "Microform (all types)"
