Podcasting 101
What: Podcasting is audio, video or both types of files delivered electronically to students on course learning material topics.
Where: http://engage.doit.wisc.edu/podcasting/
When: Use when you want to reach your students any time, any place. Create mini-lectures, emphasize key points or examples in lectures or explain assignments. There are many reseasons to use podcasting in your course development.
Why: This can be a new way of teaching and learning, make the learning fun and fresh, and can provide students with an supplemental resource to in-class or distance lectures.
